Welcome to Make to Innovate › Forums › Discussions › Ask an engineer › Boeing On Campus 10/17 to 10/19; Input Needed
Hi Everyone,
I wanted to let you all know that I will be on campus this month on Monday, October 17 through the afternoon of Wednesday, October 19.
I plan to participate in some of the interim design reviews. Additionally, Matthew Nelson and I will be working to setup a VTC with others from Boeing to participate. Since the design review is only about two weeks away, I will be creating a separate post with some tips on presentation preparation that I think you will find helpful.
Additionally, while I’m on campus, I plan to host an event on a topic of interest to you as students. Example topics could include “How Boeing Designs Airplanes” or “Engineering Leadership” (i.e. how to apply it daily) or a different topic that you can suggest. I’m interested in receiving your input for potential topics via this post. Input for topics will be due by midnight CDT on Friday, 10/7. Once we receive the input, we plan to hopefully send out a quick poll that everyone can vote on. Topics that are not selected for this fall have the potential to be used in the spring.
Go Cyclones!

Hello Ryan,
I think the “Engineering leadership” would be good. Other thoughts I had were “How Boeing does the design process”, or the process of turning and idea into a project at Boeing?
