RASC-AL is a NASA-sponsored project that allows for students to learn about the real processes that are taken for advanced design. Over the course of a year, we will submit a notice of intent, resulting in us presenting in Florida to industry leaders. To maximize the benefit to our members this year, we have set ourselves many deadlines beyond NASA’s requirements. Throughout this year, we will need to complete a list of deliverables in order to deliver a comprehensive project. These deliverables include a mission concept review, systems requirements review, systems design review, preliminary design review, video proposal, and final presentation. All of these deliverables correspond to the deadlines provided below and will serve as goals throughout the year-long project. In March, Our team will complete RASC-AL’s proposal and video submission. Completing this deadline will allow us to be selected as finalists in April. Through May, we will complete a bundle of reservations as well as submitting our technical paper for our proposal. Lastly, in June, we will be uploading our final documents, being the presentation chart deck, and digital poster. By working as a team to meet our objectives and achieve our final goal of being selected to present directly to the NASA team in June, we will have achieved our goals.
