Hello, my name is Rami Shoukih and I’m the Project Lead of CySat,
CySat, M:2:I’s CubeSat project, is designing a nano-satellite platform in accordance with the CubeSat standards set forth by California Polytechnic University and Stanford University. The CubeSat program offers educational institutions, like Iowa State University, the opportunity to design a space worthy satellite for a relatively low cost. NASA provides launch vehicles for CubeSat’s through their Cube Satellite Launch Initiative (CSLI). CySat is currently preparing a proposal for the CSLI.
CySat is requesting help to review either the the technical feasibility or the educational and scientific merit of the CySat I mission and make a recommendation to NASA on whether or not they should provide the satellite with a launch. If you are interested in being a part of the review committee, you will receive the technical feasibility or scientific merit report (whichever you prefer) with a brief rubric to help your assessment. CySat asks that you write a short review, approximately 1-2 pages, and provide a PDF copy of your resume. The deadline for the review will be November 18th, 2016.
We appreciate your help,
CySat Team
