MISSION SATEMENT

The purpose of CyLaunch is to complete a mission to one mile in altitude carrying a payload and recover the rocket safely. This must be done before April 15th, with milestone checks along the way. Students are to complete all the work on the project. 

PROJECT GOALS

The goals for CyLaunch this semester include successfully completing a launch of the full-scale vehicle without the payload, completing the Flight Readiness Review report, presentation, and flysheet by the March 6th deadline, completing a launch of the full-scale vehicle with the payload device aboard the rocket, attending the NASA Student Launch Competition and launching the rocket in the competition, and completing the Post Launch Assessment Review by its deadline on May 1st

  1. Flight Readiness Review (FRR) Report 
  2. Flight Readiness Review (FRR) Presentation 
  3. Compete at the NASA Student Launch Competition 
  4. Acquire photos and videos from the competition in Huntsville 
  5. Post Launch Assessment Review (PLAR)
