The team competed in Huntsville, Alabama on April 15th in the NASA Student Launch Competition. To get to this point, the team completed its FRR Report and Presentation, passed the LRR during launch week, and developed and finished building the payload and vehicle! The launch at competition went very well! The team’s rocket preformed nominally, had all parachutes open to slow the rocket down, and reached NASA’s range of altitudes.
The competition rocket reached an altitude of 4016 feet above the ground. The team’s target altitude was 4500 feet.
The team is now working toward the goal of completing the Post Launch Assessment Review to give an overview of the vehicle’s competition flight!
